Early Victorian Minton Celadon Green Relief Moulded Jug
This beautiful and most scarce early Victorian jug, by Minton of Stoke-on-Trent, features an intricate climbing ivy design in relief and a soft Celadon green gloss glaze.
Use when dining for water, OJ at the breakfast table, or filled with cheery seasonal blooms on a sunny windowsill!

History:
This scarce Minton jug is marked, though unclearly with the a registration diamond and we believe its 'climbling ivy' model 259 in a lozenge to its base, along with various date/shape stamps. We only found have found this design in white parian after extensive research.
Year of manufacture:
c. 1845
Approximate Measurements:
H: 16.5cm (6.5") at tallest point of spout
W: 11.5cm (45") including spout and handle
W: 8cm (3") diameter at base
Condition:
In excellent antique condition for its years with a beautifully fresh, craze free glaze. It does have three very small well hidden nibbles to its foot (base) however theres are barely visible when displayed ( please see highlighted photo) and a tiny imperfection to its glazed on its rim. The handle has two small firing lines/flaws from manufacture.
