This pretty Mid-Century posy vase by SylvaC, has been beautifully crafted in a sweet basket shape, adorned with bold flowers in relief. We adore its icy-mint colour that's so evocative of the era and its rich, glossy glaze.
In excellent condition throughout, it would look stunning filled with a posy of colourful flowers, or would make a lovely gift.

Shaw and Copestake Ltd were Earthenware manufacturers at the Drury Works (later called the Slyvan Works) in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The name "SylvaC" was used from 1938 onwards and their pieces have become highly collectible.

We have two identical vases for sale, both are in excellent vintage condition throughout, with minimal signs of wear or use. They simply displaya couple of very insignificant kiln 'frit' marks to their interior from manufacture (though these are out of sight when in use).
