This superb pair of uniquely shaped jugs would make a beautiful minimal addition to any vintage or more contemporary space.

Handcrafted in a wonderful naive fashion, we love their organic style, bold sculptural form and oversized spouts, that somewhat remind us of open Pelican bills!

Key Points:
• A pair of studio pottery jugs
• Tactile semi-matt clay with a natural finish
• Sculptural shapes with oversized spouts and handles
• Made by MB (unknown) one jug impressed to handle base
• Good vintage condition throughout

Year of manufacture:
c. 1980s, though as with much studio pottery hard to precisely.

Approximate Measurements:
Jug with taller spout: H: 17cm (6.7") to tip of spout W: 19.5cm (7.6") including spout and handle
Jug with shorter spout: H: 16cm (6") W: 17.5cm (7") including spout and handle

Condition:
In good vintage condition throughout, with darker marks inside from use. One jug (the taller) has a small hairline or firing line to the inside of its handle. though this doesn't appear to effect the integrity of the piece. Please note that due to the natural finish of the white fired clay they have areas that darker in colour.
