This beautiful Mason bowl is a fantastic example of high quality English Ironstone china and is a rare example. Produced by Minton in their famous Willow pattern, it features a luscious 'flow blue' Chinoiserie design to its exterior.

A must for any lover of 'blue & white', its rich pattern is set against a blue tinged ironstone ground and we fell it is as functional now, as the day it was produced. Perfect used as a stylish mixing or serving bowl or for a farmhouse dresser display.

History:
Synonymous with high quality wares, the Minton factory was founded in Stoke-on-Trent, in 1796 by Thomas Minton. He made Minton 'wares' famous for their cream-coloured and blue-printed earthenware, majolica and bone china. His factory was unmatched in the Victorian period for its "art" porcelains and he also made popular the famous 'Willow' pattern.

A beautiful bowl in excellent antique condition for its age and free of major wear, chips or damage throughout. Its interior shows signs of use with utensil marks and a little historic surface discolouration from this but is most useable and these do not detract from its appeal or display value in any way.
