Old Wooden Industrial Slim Workshop Drawer | Storage | Rustic Kitchen Decor

£30.00
Originally salvaged from an old workshop, it was rescued by us from an early 20th century workbench.

It comes in a usefully narrow and compact size and we think it is the perfect styling prop, or display piece, or helpful storage in a kitchen, craft room or home office.

Key Points:
• Engineers wooden drawer with a charming rusted screw and bolt pull
• Superb, naively hand-painted wording to its front face
• Solid construction with many years of use building a beautiful patina.
• In very well used and characterful condition

Early-mid 20th Century

23.5cm L / 9.5 W / 2.5 H

Condition:
We believe this to be a drawer from an engineers cabinet, by well-known tool manufacturers Moore & Wright. In very used and very characterful vintage condition, clearly showing lovely age related wear, dinks and the odd wonky edge. Please note that as has been heavily used in its lifetime, and has general stains, rust and discolouration from being in a workshop environment, however we feel it is this unique wear that adds to its charm and sense of history!

Buyers Guide:
It is very important to note, that all the pieces Roof + Roof sell are genuine pieces of age, each having a rich and varied past and are never sold as in new condition. With this in mind, minor blemishes, surface scratches, manufacturing flaws and a general sense of their age and history are naturally to be expected. We always try to the best of our ability to honestly and clearly communicate an items condition, both in our description and photography, highlighting anything over and above what ‘we perceive as ‘general age related wear and tear’.

We kindly ask you look closely at all our photos, using Etsy's zoom facility, as these naturally form part of the item's description. Please be aware that your monitor, tablet, or mobile device may emulate colours/tones differently 'on screen' to that of the actual physical item, all of which are photographed and shown to the best of our abilities within the Etsy format. Any item/prop shown in our photography is used for styling purposes only. Prior to purchasing, if you would like further clarification on any item, then we are always happy to help in any way possible.
